Our current board is a stack-up of four discrete modules—a POE extractor, 5 V and 12/24V DC/DC stages, and the WT32-eth01 MCU/PHY. I now need all of that logic gathered onto a single, production-ready PCB so we can ship one compact unit instead of a chain of daughterboards. The power input (dc) need to be in a range from 5 to 48v (now the module is 30v max) . Now the power of the board is only handled by one module that make 5 volt for the WT32 module, we want to remove the module instead to create the dc/dc module inside. Now we have ready two board using WT32 module. These board has different feature: -Board SPI: Have Wt32 that create signal for led strip digital from ttl convert to shift signal from 3.3v to 5v In the new version we want to make the output safer from current input (we need to discuss if is possible etc) -Board GPI: The Wt32 take the signal input from the mcp that read the pin input thru optoisolator and send signal thru network. in the new version we want to add the following feature to the 16 PIN: -output instead only input (digital output for relay or similar automation system) -read analog signal instead only digital signal -The input need to be fast and may can implemented an interrupt pin or use 2 pin of 16 from wt32 instead the multiplexer i2c for fast reading (something like encoder interface) Key points of the new design • WT32-eth01 is the heart of the board and should retain its full Ethernet + Wi-Fi capability. Need to remove this module and have all component of the module to one board so we can have our first board without any module. • Primary day-to-day power will arrive from an external DC source, but the PCB must also accept 802.3af/at POE as well as a Li-ion battery input with voltage sense back to the MCU (the voltage sense may to be read from any source) • Add a 100 Mb Ethernet switch so the board exposes a second RJ-45 while keeping line rate and daisy chain became possible board by board (we will send most unicast data but also broadcast and multicast need to work) • Maintain two isolated DC/DC rails: 48 V→5 V for logic and 48 V→24 V (or 12v with soldering pad for choose for external loads). Both rail from poe and external power (dc or battery). • Board layout should allow future component swaps in EasyEDA without major rerouting, on this point i will explain better: the routing of the key point like WT32, Ethernet Port and Switch IC, DC/DC handler must to be separate so we can change the board layout moving entire block and add in the future other component for make other model of board with new functionality (maybe who make this project can handle also the future board) What I will hand over . • Model and specs of every module now used on the working board. • Two different EasyEDA project showing the current inter-module wiring. What I need back of each our working board + Proto Board: 1. Complete, single-board schematic (PDF + EasyEDA files) of: - WT32ETH and full pinout + Ethernet Port + Switch IC and Network System + Dc/DC + Functionality (SPI or GPIO) 2. EasyEDA PCB file ready for edits and future upgrades 3. Manufacturing outputs (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place, solder-paste) suitable for any standard PCB producer). These file need to be send and created for each of our woking board + generic board for make new prototype. Next a summary of the needed files: Board SPI: -Manufacturing outputs (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place, solder-paste) suitable for any standard PCB producer). - WT32ETH and full pinout + Ethernet Port + Switch IC and Network System + Dc/DC + Functionality (SPI or GPIO) Board GPI: -Manufacturing outputs (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place, solder-paste) suitable for any standard PCB producer). - WT32ETH and full pinout + Ethernet Port + Switch IC and Network System + Dc/DC + Functionality (SPI or GPIO) Board GENERIC: -Manufacturing outputs (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place, solder-paste) suitable for any standard PCB producer). - WT32ETH and full pinout + Ethernet Port + Switch IC and Network System + Dc/DC + PinOut soldering pad or similar for prototype new board. Acceptance criteria • All power inputs function independently and seamlessly; • WT32-eth01 same funcionality and pinout than original • Second Ethernet port passes 100 Mb traffic without packet loss under flood test. • Battery voltage readout stable within ±2 % at 3.0–14 V. • Design files open error-free in the current EasyEDA release. Not all the requested feature are now implemented, so we can work together to take the right way following up the requested features. If you have solid EasyEDA experience and a track record designing mixed-supply, POE-capable boards, this project should be straightforward.
