Flight Simulator Throttle Quadrant hardware
basically the idea for this project is to develop a throttle quadrant like you see in boeing 737s 747s as hardware for flight simulators for the hobbyist, however it will be a down scaled version. It will be used in softwares such as Micrsoft flight simulator fs2004 and fsx.
The tricky part comes here, we need to engineer removable throttles. I have images and example how we want the throttles to look like, however we want the user to be able to remove throttles to be able to change the setup to specific aircraft e.g. the Boeing 727 has 3 throttles, in this case we would leave 3 throttles and remove one.
The product will need a plug and play board usb, joystick boards tend to work very well.
The product needs to be smooth in pushing the throttle back and forth and have a realistic feel about it.
Currently I need help mechicanally engineering the project and then paying additionally for a prototype to be developed.
please apply if you believe you are up for the challenge there is no immediate deadline. Anyone who is creative is very welcome as we need some bright ideas for this.
Additonally I can pay out between 100-200USD, as this is more a small scale project for me and im investing my personal savings.
I have lots of references including drawings. I know the produc can be made but it comes down to how to reconnect the throttles and keeping the price down for the average joe or in this case the average flight simmer.
