Do you know how a 4 stroke combustion engine works? Well, I don't know as much as you so I would like a good mechanical engineer to develop a spreadsheet with some intricate formulas about engines, aspirated or turbocharged.
I would like to answer some specific questions, with the spreadsheet having the appropriate commented formulas on each and places to provide the input.
For example: I have an engine that has 72HP with a 7:1 compression ratio. If I raise the compression ratio to 8:1, what would be the theoretical power increase? And if I change from using gasoline (petrol) to methanol? I believe - and this is what I am really looking for, that more information should be provided to achieve the result that I am looking for. So here is where all your knowledge comes forward.
In the above example, which is just an example of what I want, more information has to be provided to achieve the final result.
The information I am looking for, which is a must for the project to be called complete, is the following:
1 - What will be the cylinder compression based on known compression ratio? This would be measured during cranking only. Air pressure, air density, humidity and temperature should be considered.
2 - What would be the pressure on the cylinder chamber at TDC?
3 - What would be the cylinder volumetric efficiency, at various RPM, using different types of camshaft adjustment? ( I want to know here, if I change the camshaft position in relation to the piston, what will happen. For example, a 272 degrees intake camshaft: what happens if I open the valve 2 degrees earlier? 3 degrees earlier? 5 degress later? etc. These "degrees" are free input).
4 - What would be the perfect ignition timing? For example, should I set the ignition at 18 degrees BTDC? What if I use methanol instead of gasoline? When would pre-ignition occur? I know this depends, among others, on the compression ratio, cylinder compression, camshaft adjustment, spark plug, spark plug gap, air temperature, etc.
In summary, I want to determine an engine's theoretical capacity using different configurations, with all of the formulas with a nice description and comments!

What I want is the FULL complete project and this is what I am willing to get and, of course, pay for.
