I would like to create a heat source in a point in my ( 240 layers attached together ) in my geometry. i Would like to observe the temperature changes with time within the layers when we have a heat source. I have done my case using fluent/ansys but could not show the heat source, i may need to write UDF, and i am not familiar with that i need someone to teach me how to do that as well in case i want to change the location of the heat source

Hello, I have 3 years experience with CFD using Ansys fluent ur case will be done using UDF, which I did many projects with it you need a position & time dependent source heat, I did the same udf for a gradient temperature of earth - the deeper you go the more heated rocks-. Regards
