: A Novel Cell Selection Algorithm in 5G Heterogeneous Networks.

Cell selection technique determines which BS and mobile user (MU) should be associated with, hence plays a unique role in determining the average data rate a MU can attain in 5G heterogeneous networks.\r\n\r\no The limitations in cell selections algorithms such as the uneven load distribution between various BSs in Heterogenous networks motivate researchers to critically think for new techniques that will increase the efficiency of 5G multi-tier networks and to support billions diverse of devices and amalgamation of different technologies.\r\no Therefore, in this project, I would like to propose a novel cell selection algorithm, which can efficiently radiate performance and consider the trade off between the distributed BSs in 5G heterogeneous networks, which overcome the problem of load balancing.\r\no After proposing the novel algorithm, I will also use MATLAB to simulate the scenario and obtain the result, which will help me to compare with other related prior work on the field. \r\n
