Although My PC is a Mac, I have all the necessary Office software to work on the project. I understand the delivery date may vary, depending on the project. Hello. I am Japanese and provide English-Japanese translation. I have lived and studied in the U.S. , have lived in Europe and Asia for many years. In the foreign countries where I lived, I provided English-Japanese translation as a freelancer. I also worked at a university in Japan teaching English. Also in Japan, I worked at a global retailer as well as at a renowned global law firm as a dedicated translator. Thus, I am familiar with documents in various fields. Hello i'm Isamu a native Japanese speaker with more than 10years experiene working as mechanic,electric engineer in several industory. Currentry working in trading company as engineer in charge of translating English to Japanese or vise versa for foreign company supplier and Japanese customer such as web meeting, translation manuals,contract documents etc. Expect the following. -Excellent communication skills -Professional translation skills especially industrial english -Timely submission of work -Quick response on the other hand i work as part time freelancer and had experience to work for lots of project related to EN-JP which included interpretation, proofreading, translation, subtitles, blog, articles, brochures. i'm usually available about 20hours in a week. I pay close attention to readability, tone, consistency, and whether the final text sounds natural for Japanese readers. I am especially comfortable with general documents, business writing, marketing copy, website content, and everyday written materials. For highly specialized fields such as medical, engineering, or advanced IT documents, I would like to review the source text first to make sure I can handle the terminology accurately. I can work with DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files while preserving the original layout and style as much as possible. I do not currently use a CAT tool, but I can maintain a project glossary manually to keep terminology consistent. My current weekly capacity is around 2,000–4,000 words, depending on the difficulty and deadline.
