I manage a promotional company selling merchandise and clothing items to businesses and sporting clubs, etc. Our most common products include tee shirts, polo shirts, caps, printed pens, stress balls, can holders (koozies), etc.
I have exported a sales report out of my industry specific accounting software package into excel (see attached). It shows the orders taken by our organisation in the last 8 weeks (approx 200 orders). These orders are seperated by sales reps.
I need to accurately get a figure as to what is our average number of products per order for each of our main sales people (Emma Dawson, Emma Fairless, Kris Grattan, and Varsity). I cannot get a report to show me this as my software includes, artwork, setup, printing, embroidery, etc as products. However I just want the products to count, not the decoration and printing.
Can someone go through these and give me the average number of products per order for each sales rep? This is a simple project that I do not expect to have to pay much for.
