Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented freelancer with strong Excel skills to assist in matching and updating product names across two worksheets. Project Scope: You will work with two Excel sheets containing approximately 9,000 rows of product data. In Sheet A, product names need to be updated based on corresponding information from Sheet B. Product names in Sheet B may have slight variations based on brand and quality (e.g., "GAUGE SET S19187001" in Sheet A may appear as "S19187001 GAUGE SET / S19187 GAUGE SET / N31 HEAVY DUTY GAUGE SET" in Sheet B). The primary reference point for matching is the part number (e.g., "S19187001" as an example). Your task is to accurately copy and update product names from Sheet B to Sheet A using a combination of Excel formulas, Power Query, and manual verification where required. Responsibilities: * Match and update product names in Sheet A based on corresponding entries from Sheet B. * Ensure accuracy by using the part number as a unique identifier. * Utilize Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, TEXT functions) and Power Query for efficient data handling. * Perform manual checks and adjustments where automated matching is not precise. * Deliver the updated and verified worksheet within the agreed timeframe.
