Email a pdf attachment and a covering email to a list of contacts

I would like to write an email which includes a few hyperlinks and attach a pdf to it then send to a list of around 4,000 contacts which is in excel (possibly best to use csv as less risk of changes in future).
The email I could write in Mozilla Thunderbird or word, word is probably easier.
For the email method I prefer to use Mozilla Thunderbird as that is default on all machines rather than Microsoft outlook which crashes if you over fill the memory.
The above is very similar to what I can do in either Mailchimp or Sendinblue but I would prefer to send an attachment and not be limited to 4GB total (ideally I would send a 6 or 7GB attachment).
In addition it would be great to send one email to all the contacts in one company. So if there are 2 emails for one account number, one email would be sent with both addressees therefore they know who I have sent it to in their business.
For future I would also like to be able to add merge fields in the email. So if I wanted to say to Hi "Insert Column D" I could.
I have a program that is far more complex written by a Freelancer, sadly he has been off line for 11 months else I would use him again as I like the way I can update and run everything from his excel program and this sends from Thunderbird. I have attached it for reference. I have also attached a suggestion of what it could look like. I don’t mind if difference but this gives an idea of what I am thinking and makes it look similar to current programs we use.
