Facecream Product - aimed at the 25 - 40 Female demographic.
Simples website needed and Facebook Creative.
Have you ever done a Facebook Comp before?
To start with we need to create a simple 6 page website. The purchase page will redirect to a Westpac site for the actual purchase so we don’t require any shopping carts etc.
Then we need some additional pages created on the facebook site involving a competition. Have you done a facebook comp before?
The original idea was to use [url removed, login to view] however it seems to be a bit expensive, the minimum being $100 per month and from the looks of it, that doesn't include the competition application - which is what we were after. For that, you have to go up to the $2,749 per month plan.
The competition brief :
"In order to encourage Facebook participation and ‘liking’ by our target demographics a competition will be launched to find the ‘online face’ of the brand.
The first stage of the competition involves asking people to register to participate. In order to do so they have to like the page. From there we need to collect some basic information from them. (Do we pull this info from their pages automatically or should they be filling in an online form?)
Then we will choose a short list of 10 applicants to participate in the competition. These will be selected by a few filters: number of Facebook friends, age, profession and area of residence.
We will load up 3 different photos of each of the 10 competitors over a 30 day period. This is to show the moisturiser in use. The participants in the competition will be encouraged to get their friends to vote for them as well as other users of the site. Using photographs to show the product working on ‘real individuals’.
The winner is the individual with the most ‘likes’.
The winner will then be used on the Facebook page to promote the product, including a short video, quotes and professional photographs. They will also be encouraged to write blog posts etc about their experience. A cash incentive will be on offer as well for the winner.
A database will be created from all online enquiries via the website and email. The entrants not selected for the competition will also onto the database for use later on in the campaign."
