As a software company based in Canada and Panama, we are looking for a person to join our team as an implementation assistant. Our software has been on the market since 2016 and our customers range from medium size (1,000 employees) to very large (50,000 employees and more). They are also spread all over the world and include many industries (manufacturing, pharma, mining, chemicals, hotels, retail, marinas, health, engineering, and many others). Our software manages their budget process, their requests for approval (to purchase equipment), the tracking of costs, the reporting, and many other elements of their process related to capital and operational expenditures. Our team members are spread out on all continents, in order to offer our customers a 24h support. In this new position of implementation assistant, you will be provided full (paid) training. Our software is very specialized, so for the first few weeks you will follow our more senior team members to learn about our software and the work. After a few months, when you feel comfortable, you will be able to lead implementations of customers. What this position provides: . Ability to work from home . Ability to create your agenda, providing we always help our customers when needed . A unique chance to learn and develop skills in areas of budgeting, finance, tracking costs, and many, many others. . Working in English mainly (we do have customers in Latin America, so Spanish is always welcome as well). All work is online, with a mix of emails and Teams meetings. Working hours are typical business hours, Costa Rica time. However, there might be times where customers need some meetings in off hours during the week, due to time zones. Salary to be revised per performance. We tend to keep our team members for long term and we typically review salaries on an annual basis. As for the tasks, they typically include everything that is needed to setup a customer's account. This includes: . Configuring the software (there is no coding required, this is not a coding position) . Requesting data from customer and entering it or uploading it (users, permissions, budgets, other) Multiple discussions with customers about best way to configure settings. Acting as a link between the customer and our internal development team if customer needs specific features that need to be coded Providing any type of support to the customer during implementation. This might include training, answering questions, setting up meetings with customer and our internal teams to coordinate things, giving guidance to customers on best practices and ideas to improve their process. What you need . A secure and private computer (all customer data is confidential, so you need to have a computer that is secure) . Fluent in English . Ability to learn in multiple areas . A high attention to details . Analytics mind to finding solutions and providing recommendations to the customers . Professional presence in front of the customers. Our customers are often part of the management and senior management team, so a clean corporate <look and feel> is important. Using appropriate language is also important (customers are not <brother> or <sister>, so no bro or sis :-). . Ability to set goals and honor them, replying in a timely manner.
