I am right now doing a dairy cow barn model CFD project. I drew the barn model using the Ansys DesignModeler. I exported the model into the CAD so that I can insert the dairy cow model into the barn model and then import the whole barn model with cows into the Ansys. Here is a question, I can not see the dairy cow models in the setup when I finished the mesh. First I named the selected cow models as the geometry of the body, and then I tried to name the selected cow models as the geometry of the face. However, I still cannot see the mesh work on the cow model. So, I want to ask how can I solve this problem.

Hi, I think the problem is a multiple parts in the solidworks that you did not join together. Try merging all parts into one part and export to Ansys. From Ansys you can select faces that needs the boundary layers and try to run the case.
