It is a numerical analysis of laterally loaded piles that are embedded in a medium dense sand. A hollow steel section is used as a pile and locally available medium dense sand is filled with a tank with the relative density of 40%. Lateral load is applied on the tank and we're analysing the load displacement behaviour of pile under lateral load with respect to the variation of length in L/D ratio.
Parameters we want to obtain are
1) Load displacement behaviour of pile
2) flexural stiffness of pile
3) comparison of single and group pile of 2 x 2
This complete work should be on simulation software named ABAQUS.
