We need to change our current Java-based interactive zoom on images published on a web site into Flash-based. This piece of software works on JPEG (or GIF) images producing a high-quality interpolated zoom (no pixel enlargement) in one section of a pop-up window, as well as a whole view of the zoomed picture (including a viewfinder showing the zoomed area. Such a viewfinder must be movable in order to zoom other areas) in the other section. The image is called from a database (we work with Cold Fusion) and some parameters are passed to the piece of software, for example the size of the images in order to show the pop-up window (with the FLASH zoom) fitting the original proportions of the image. We can show a fully working example made from java. We need to have it exactly reproduced (or even enhanced) in FLASH. Send us a message for getting the URL of the example, ONLY if able to manage the project.
