Hi this is a very quick fix for a flash expert! I need the code changed for my FLA so that the images/swfs are scaled proportionately when they are loaded via XML. Currently any images or SWFs have to be the exact size of the loader, and the registration is set to the upper left. I'd rather have all images and swfs loaded with the registration point in the center, and proportionately scaled so that I don't have to adjust any images - especially SWFs which are a nightmare to re-scale.
Both FLAs are part of the same project - and contain the same code for calling the files via XML. Example of this actionscript (2.0) is here:
var x:XML = new XML();
[login to view URL] = true;
var urls:Array = new Array();
var projectNames:Array = new Array();
var projectDates:Array = new Array();
var projectNumber:Number;
[login to view URL] = function(success) {
var thumbs:Array = [login to view URL];
for(i=0;i<[login to view URL];i++) {
// stacey reiman change made to line 17 to allow for editing as a NODE in the xml image editor
[login to view URL](thumbs[i].[login to view URL]);
[login to view URL](thumbs[i].[login to view URL]);
[login to view URL](thumbs[i].[login to view URL]);
}
// Load Thumbs via XML nodes.
[login to view URL](urls[0]);
[login to view URL](urls[1]);
[login to view URL](urls[2]);
[login to view URL](urls[3]);
[login to view URL](urls[4]);
[login to view URL](urls[5]);
[login to view URL](urls[6]);
[login to view URL](urls[7]);
[login to view URL](urls[8]);
You can just tell me how to change the above - I can change and test it myself - and I'll pay you right away! I've attached one of the FLAs here so you can see for yourself in case you want to test.
