your task is to modify a simple, existing flash videoplayer.
The current player (full source code will be provided) currently runs as a standalone windows-application and shows a static start-screen (external png-image) . This start-screen acts as a button. When the user interacts with the button (via touchscreen) the application starts playing back a video (the video is an external .MP4-file). At the end of the video the start-screen is shown again.
An external XML-file is used to configure the start-screen and video-file.
-it should be possible to optionally replace the static start-image with an endless video-loop (using a dedicated video-file)
- create a new standalone .exe-file
please include a delivery timeframe.
- enabling the rotation (landscpae / portrait) of the loaded content should also be implemented, this should also be configurable within the external XML-file (reason: the applicaiton sometimes gets used in vertical or horizontal configuration)
