Need a Flash Guru to solve a small problem.

I'm stuck on a problem.

I've spent too much time trying to figure out the solution!

I thought I'd ask someone for some paid advice.

I have a SWF file that reads and XML file and loads images that are mentioned in the XML file.

OK so far. I can test on one domain and it works fine.

Problem: I need to call the SWF file from another domain, called [url removed, login to view] say for example.

I need to have it be in a HTML file.

(I don't have the option of reading it in from another SWF file on the [url removed, login to view] domain - not sure if this would have solved the problem.)

All I can do is reference it from the HTML.

Problem: the SWF file loads OK... and even data in the XML file loads.

BUT: the images *DON'T* load. :(

I've tried a million different things... and nothing works.

One thing that did work for only one file I tried was to put references of the jpg's be absolute URLs, i.e. htpp://[url removed, login to view] etc.

But this only worked for one file... other code with external jpg's I have tried refuse to work. :(

I suspect the first file may have been an early Flash 6 format... this maybe would explain thigns... as Flash got new securtiy features in later releases.

I've really been pulling my hair out over this one.

I've done lot's of reading and have read about the [url removed, login to view] (or whatever it's called) and about the cross domain issues.

Striclty speaking... I didn't think this was an issue for my problem... but I implemented the suggested rules anyway.

Still no luck. :(

If you were interested in this small problem... then I will give you the code (and all source files) I am trying to use.

You will need to show me it working as I have said: being called from another domain in a HTML file.

I'm sure the solution is soooo damn easy and has been looking me in the face... but I'm just tired and too saturated!

I'll give the project to the first person that shows me a solution.

This could be a job that can be completed in 60 seconds if you know your Flash!
