I’d structure this as a Flutter modular app with clear domain separation (learning engine, AAC, payments, offline sync). Firebase handles auth, content, and analytics, with a local-first layer (Hive/SQLite) to support the 60% offline requirement and deterministic sync. The AI layer (Python → TensorFlow Lite) should ship as pre-trained lightweight models with on-device inference to avoid latency and privacy issues. AAC (pictograms + TTS) will use cached assets and fallback voices offline. I’d also design a rules-based baseline before adaptive AI to ensure predictable early UX. Payments (Stripe + IAP) will be abstracted to comply with Apple guidelines.
