Most devs will slap any Bootstrap theme on top of React and call it Metronic integration. Real Metronic work means actually using their component library structure, not fighting against it. I've built full-stack dashboards with React before (invoicing platform with 81-table backend, travel planner with interactive maps). Metronic's just another component framework once you understand how their theming system layers over Bootstrap. I'd wire up the screens using their existing component patterns, customize the SASS variables for brand consistency, and keep everything modular so you can swap layouts without breaking functionality.
