Unity Programmer for 2D Game Development

Job Title: Unity Programmer (2D Game Developer) Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract (Potentially full time) Job Description: We are looking for a talented Unity Programmer with experience in developing 2D games to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Unity engine, C# programming, and game development workflows. You will be responsible for implementing gameplay mechanics, optimizing performance, and collaborating with designers and artists to bring our game to life. Responsibilities: Develop and implement core gameplay mechanics in Unity using C#. Work with 2D assets, including sprite animation, and UI Optimize game performance for smooth gameplay across multiple devices. Implement game logic, level progression, and state management. Collaborate with designers, artists, and sound engineers to achieve a cohesive game experience. Debug and fix bugs, ensuring a stable and polished final product. Create procedural generation of level and solvers Implement basic multiplayer features Requirements: Proven experience with Unity and C# in 2D game development. Familiarity with sprite animations. Knowledge of game optimization techniques for mobile and PC. Experience with UI/UX implementation in Unity (Canvas, animations, buttons). Understanding of object-oriented programming and game architecture patterns. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Experience working with Git or other version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
