This job involves developing a detailed 24 chapter outline.
This includes developing high/medium level Characters, World and Plot development, ending with the writer will bring these scenes to life.
This culminates in the development of a 100,000 word fiction story.
Writer should know how to show vs. tell. Know how to develop paragraphs and scenes with powerful emotion, dialogue and detailed action.
At the end of the day, I am looking for the reader to experience emotions like, fear, excitement, and mounting tension and finally a satisfying relief from tension and looks forward to the next book in the series.
*Knowledge of the Scifi genre – space opera, star wars, star gate type worlds a very helpful, solid tell writing essential.
In addition to being able to write well in an engaging contemporary style, the writer needs to be able to provide timely feedback around progression and able to submit chapter by chapter updates. (Milestones are setup by chapter, and payment released up submission review.)
Note, this is the second of several projects underway this year, and the successful candidate will be well poised to pick up projects on an ongoing basis.
Also looking to crank out books in 8-12 week intervals, so candidate should be able to allocate the necessary time to deliver in a timely manner.
