Dear R,
What an interesting idea for a book! I'm particularly fond of the way you weave the concepts of a short story and a novel into one project--I think it would be fantastic to compose each "state" as a piece that could stand on its own, while reading all of the incidents together would allow the reader a deeper and broader understanding of the plot with each section. I can imagine many directions this kind of work could take, all depending on your preferences and what tone you'd like each state's murder to have.
Symbolism, satire, commentary on a broader ideal, action, cunning, mystery, eroticism--the list could go on. I'd love to hear more from you regarding what kind of motives underlie Chase's desire (or obligation) to kill these women. I have several years' worth of experience in ghostwriting, and fiction is my specialty. Grisly, dark themes, suspense, and complex characters are some of my strengths, so this seems a fitting project for me.
I hope to speak with you more regarding your terms for this job and some more details of payment provided. Given that a typical double-spaced page has an average of 250 words, I calculate that you are looking for a book of total length between 30,000 and 40,000 words. Does this seem correct to you?
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have regarding my experience, etc. I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Emery
