Project Description We are looking for an experienced Paid Advertising Manager to support multi-platform performance marketing for an eCommerce and distribution business in the performance automotive parts and accessories industry. This is a remote hourly freelance project for an independent contractor. The project is suitable for a long-term collaboration, with workload and weekly hours agreed through Freelancer based on campaign volume, budget, and business priorities. Some overlap with U.S. business hours is preferred for campaign reviews, reporting, and coordination, but this is a remote freelance engagement and not an on-site employment role. All communication, project coordination, file sharing, time tracking, invoicing, and payment must remain on Freelancer.com. Project Overview The selected freelancer will help build, manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. The main goal is to improve revenue, ROAS, campaign efficiency, audience quality, and full-funnel performance across paid media channels. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, analytical, performance-driven, and comfortable managing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and other emerging paid channels. Main Responsibilities 1. Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Management You will help plan, build, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. This may include: Google Ads Meta Ads Amazon Ads TikTok Ads Pinterest Ads Display advertising Other relevant paid acquisition channels You should be able to manage campaigns from setup to optimization, including structure, targeting, budgets, creative testing, bid adjustments, and performance analysis. 2. Campaign Optimization & Scaling You will monitor campaign performance and make ongoing improvements to increase efficiency and revenue impact. Responsibilities may include: Optimizing bids, budgets, targeting, placements, and creatives Improving ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, and campaign quality Identifying underperforming campaigns Recommending where to scale, pause, restructure, or test Improving campaign structure across different platforms Connecting paid media performance with business outcomes The focus is not only running ads, but building a scalable paid media system that can support profitable growth. 3. Audience Research & Targeting You will research and refine audience strategies across paid platforms. This may include identifying customer segments, interest groups, retargeting opportunities, lookalike audiences, product-based audiences, and full-funnel targeting structures. You should be able to improve audience quality and reduce wasted spend through better segmentation, testing, and performance review. 4. Creative Testing & Collaboration You will work with creative, marketing, and content contributors to improve ad performance. This may include: Recommending ad creative concepts Reviewing ad copy and messaging Testing different formats and angles Identifying high-performing creative patterns Providing feedback based on performance data Coordinating creative requirements for campaigns You do not need to be a graphic designer, but you should understand how creative quality affects paid media performance. 5. Reporting & Performance Insights You will provide clear reporting and actionable recommendations based on campaign data. Reports should cover key paid media metrics such as: ROAS CPA CTR CPC CPM Conversion rate Revenue Cost efficiency Campaign performance by platform Audience and creative performance The goal is to turn campaign data into clear decisions, not just provide basic reporting. 6. A/B Testing & Experimentation You will help plan and run tests across campaigns, audiences, messaging, creatives, and landing pages. This may include: Ad copy testing Creative testing Audience testing Landing page testing Budget allocation testing Platform comparison testing You should be comfortable using test results to improve campaign performance over time. 7. Compliance & Ethical Advertising All advertising work must follow applicable laws, advertising platform policies, privacy requirements, and ethical marketing standards. We are not looking for spam, fake engagement, misleading ads, unauthorized account activity, prohibited advertising tactics, or any method that violates platform rules. Expected Working Rhythm The project will follow a performance-focused workflow. Daily or Near-Daily Monitor campaign performance Review spend, conversions, and key efficiency metrics Adjust bids, budgets, targeting, and creatives where needed Identify urgent issues or optimization opportunities Weekly Analyze performance across platforms Optimize active campaigns Review creative and audience performance Recommend budget adjustments Provide campaign optimization updates Monthly Prepare performance reports Review ROAS, CPA, revenue, and conversion trends Recommend scaling strategies Identify new testing opportunities Plan campaign improvements for the next cycle The exact cadence, weekly workload, and reporting format will be agreed through Freelancer after the project is awarded. The suggested range is: USD $70–$120/hour The final hourly rate will depend on experience, platform expertise, campaign ownership level, and agreed scope. Performance-based bonuses may be considered for clearly defined results such as ROAS improvement, revenue growth, CPA reduction, or campaign efficiency improvements.
