Company Ownership

This is Brian and he works at a small Telecommunications Company.

Brian’s job a technician is to keep the system up and running so that the customers are happy.

But those customers are Brian’s neighbors, friends and family members that are currently complaining about the poor customer service they get when a problem occurs.

Being as it is not Brian his department he feels him self-helpless when he hears a complaint.

Company ownership!!

Brian turns into not only a employee of the company but also a Ambassador being there for his neighbors, friends and family members when they need help with one of the Telecommunications Company services.

How does this work?

Brian logs in to the company’s company ownership website database and enters his clients.

For example:

Brian knows 5 people in his neighborhood that have a internet connection

Brian knows 15 people in his neighborhood that have Prepaid cellular connection

When confronted with a problem with one of the services his client then contacts Brian as he is already a good friend or neighbor and they always first guide them to contact the customer service but then he follows up with them if the actual person has been helped and in the worst case follows him/her self with customer service to get the problem fixed.

Brian knows his company at heart and knows exactly who to call or to e-mail and even heading to the department head if necessary.

Brian’s effort is responsible for company revenue of

Fixed internet : 5 x $50 = $250 x 12 = $ 3000,-

Prepaid mobile: 15 x $20 = $300 x 12 = $ 3600,-

Total : $ 6600

If the customers are happy all year round and give Brian through a evaluation a grade higher or equal 7 than the company employee gets a bonus (determined by the board).

The more people there are happily under employee ownership for at least a year, the higher the bonus.

Brian is happy because he is besides his regular job activity contributing to the company revenue and needs and by doing that securing his future.

Company is happy because the revenue are rising and more customers are happy with the more personal feel of ownership of not only Brian but the whole company.
