Project Objectives Statement: The objective of the project is to build an Ecommerce Website portal that will enable the management of [login to view URL] to successfully list, manage, sell and process payment of shoes, clothing and accessories in an on line store. Company Background Sports4u is a small sized company selling shoes, mostly sports shoes under shoedeals4u.com. The company is also considering going into the clothing and accessories selling business. Project Description The websites must use modern web standards — HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript — following the best practice known as “progressive enhancement,” which helps ensure the website is usable by anyone, regardless of their browser or device. Design Requirements 1. All the code must be written by hand to ensure quality. 2. The website must be a Responsive web design, crafted to use W3C CSS3 media queries, with fluid grids and fluid images, to adapt the layout to the viewing environment. 3. Progressive Enhancement must consists of the following core principles: a. basic content should be accessible to all web browsers b. basic functionality should be accessible to all web browsers c. sparse, semantic markup contains all content d. enhanced layout is provided by externally linked CSS e. enhanced behavior is provided by unobtrusive, externally linked JavaScript f. end-user web browser preferences are respected Functional Requirements: A. Hi Mike, We can do this site with Wordpress CMS and ecommerce plugin with woocommerce or the wp eCommerce. As a administrator you can login to dashboard (main control panel) and manage all data and the users who have purchased and etc. You can have different user roles and users creating to store management but with not fully permissions. That will be a great advantage.
