The first white paper to support the clinical use of DoseMe, though we want it to be branded under our university program – The Dosing Institute ([url removed, login to view]). It will be used as a printed sales aid at sales calls and used to support the DoseMe and The Dosing Institute website library prompting users to register their details to receive the white paper via email (PDF format).
As this is our first white paper, this will set the tone and template for future white papers that we will produce, therefore, we would like consideration to how this could roll out for future studies. We are also yet to produce any substantial collateral for the dosing institute, so will require consideration around the types of icons, graphics, colours, fonts and overall branding.

Clinicians-administrator level - i.e. a layman with subject matter interest. Complicated statistics should be accompanied with a simple graphic explanation. Time on this paper will be limited so the key messages need to stand out.

Clinicians through to administrators are likely to be unaware that Bayesian dosing outperforms other statistical approaches in many conditions. Even if they are aware calculating area under a curve (AUC) is complicated and often replaced with simpler, less effective, proxies. Software available at a patient’s bedside and integrated into a clinicians workflow makes calculations of AUC possible, and makes precision dosing, that is, the ideal dose for each patient possible.
It is a compelling reason for adoption of the DoseMe software in a clinical setting, in addition to the literature that supports Bayesian individualised dosing methods.
The medical copywriter will focus on the four main key takeaways for this paper, and it is important these are highlighted visually as well:
1. DoseMe is more effective than conventional methods of AUC estimation (and therefore dose adjustment) for Tobramycin in patients with CF and practical for clinical setting
2. Only one assay result is required for accurate AUC estimation
3. Collection of samples is unrestricted and can be at patient-preferred times
4. DoseMe achieves higher accuracy and precision in calculating AUC using half as many laboratory results as the standard clinical method used at the RBWH (Kestral).
