Job Description:
We plan to publish 5 children’s books on different science topics for children between 5 to 15 years old. The books are informative books (junior encyclopaedia style) which are creative, fun and has hands-on activity attached.
I will provide:
a) book concept with more details upon successful appointment.
b) book content
c) SOME images (not all) relevant to the book content.
What I will need from artists:
a) cover and book content design and layout ready for print - both digital and offset printing, MUST have bleed and cropmarks, etc
b) final file format : jpeg, pdf, ai file and link files
c) logo for book series
d) search and add some more relevant royalty-free images
e) proficient in programs such as Photoshop and illustrator
Other details:
a) book close size : A4 portrait
b) number of pages : 24 to 28 pages
When required:
1) visualization, select colours, fonts, images, and layout – within 3 days upon appointment
2) progress update every 2 days
3) first draft completion – 7 to 10 days
