Summary:
We are currently in the process of implementing an interactive real estate website. The website will feature the standard real estate listings, searches and some other features we will disclose after the project is granted. For the current phase we have to two key tasks to perform:
• Design a Logo (if you are an expert in designing logos only, then submit a proposal with your original works, you could still win!!!)
• Look & Feel (no development, html optional)
Scope of Works:
Firstly, we will explain our vision, domain name and share our concepts and themes with the Graphics Designer. This should enable the Graphics Designer to mold logos that fit our future goals. The designer will be called upon to provide several concepts and utilize his/her creativity and attention to detail.
Upon finalization of the above, the designer will be responsible for providing several different home page designs (minimum 3). Each design must be unique and different. Please note, the Graphics designer can show us templates from templating sites for our selection should he/she see something interesting. Once a design is selected, the responsibility of the designer is to mold the design of the template to our vision, logo and concept. At least one design must be parallax based. The design of the web page include the following different sub-designs:
• Home Page
• Search Page (Listing View)
• Search Page (Grid View)
• Real Estate Home/Apt. Page
• About Us Page
• Terms and Conditions Page
Please note, no HTML or pre-generated HTML until this point.
The final step is image slicing. All images must be sliced for the website (png format) and organized accordingly in to folders for each subpage. Images should be sliced properly, for example, backgrounds should be 1x1 pixel, gradients should be width x 1px or 1px x length depending on whether they are horizontal or vertical.
Deliverables:
There are three key deliverables for this project and the fourth is optional. For each deliverable, the full sized raw images must be provided and must be in either PSD or Illustrator format along with the web generated format(s).
1. Logo: include raw file (psd or ai), uncompressed tiff, jpeg and png
2. Web UI: includes the six sub designs, full pages in raw and png format, and the sliced images in png format only.
3. Icons/Buttons: icon sets should include a 16x16, 32x32, 48x48 and 64x64 set. Image based button sets should be provided in a single size for the raw format (reasonably large), the png format size will be the one being used in the web page. Please note, image based buttons are rarely used nowadays, but this is here just in case.
4. HTML Pages (optional): An html web page can be provided and should be included in the project cost if you are going to do it. The html web page should be for all the listed 6 pages with dummy links between pages and use HTML5/CSS3/Bootstrap.
Important Notes:
Item 4 will not impact your selection if you cannot do it. The top 3 items take an extremely high precedent over the last item.
Desirables in your proposals:
1. All Original Works: all current original logos/designs must be presented in the proposal and should be for LIVE sites, not sample sites or personal sites.
2. Creativity: indeed this is a high priority, no need for explanation here.
3. Borrowed Templates: if a template was borrowed from an external source and then tailored for the client, then it should be specified as “modded” in parentheses (the source of the template should not be included, but we may ask for it later on). Please note, if it is not specified and we find out after the project is underway, we will not be happy.
