I need an experienced Microsoft Power Platform professional to architect and build a web-based HR portal with Power Pages at its core. The first release must handle HR and applicant tracking, onboarding with employee self-service, plus PTO and benefits management, all surfaced through clean, role-based pages for HR managers, supervisors, and employees. The new site has to live comfortably inside our Microsoft 365 environment and connect, through standard or custom connectors, to three critical back-end systems—our ERP, payroll solution, and existing document-management repository—so data flows bidirectionally without manual touch points. Think of the experience as a light-weight alternative to Arcoro, but fully aligned with our internal processes and security model. Scope highlights • Design the overall information architecture, Dataverse schema, and security roles that map to HR managers, supervisors, and employee self-service. • Build Power Pages sites for candidate application, onboarding tasks, time-off requests, and benefit elections, complete with approval workflows in Power Automate. • Surface documents stored in our DMS, trigger e-signatures where required, and write key events back to ERP and payroll. • Provide responsive layout and accessible design so staff can work comfortably on desktop and mobile browsers. Acceptance A successful milestone demonstrates end-to-end creation of a position, posting to the external page, candidate submission, HR review, conversion to employee, and a completed PTO request that posts to payroll. If you have deep Power Pages and Dataverse experience and have integrated ERP or payroll systems before, I’m ready to discuss timelines, milestones, and any additional technical details you need.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I understand you’re looking to create a web-based HR portal using Microsoft Power Platform. The goal is to streamline HR processes while ensuring usability and integration with existing systems. A common issue in projects like this is managing the complexity of workflows and user permissions, especially when multiple roles are involved. What usually matters most here is ensuring that the portal is scalable and maintains a clear structure for future enhancements. My approach would focus on developing a solid architecture using PowerApps and Power Automate to facilitate seamless workflows. I prioritize stability and maintainability, ensuring the system can adapt to changing business needs without excessive rework. I have experience building similar portals, which has taught me the importance of an intuitive user interface alongside robust backend automation. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific user roles and permissions do you envision for the HR portal? Q2 – Are there any existing systems or databases that need to integrate with the new portal? Q3 – How do you plan to handle reporting and analytics within Power BI? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, The milestone I’d design around first is position creation → candidate application → HR review → employee conversion → PTO posting to payroll. If that lifecycle works cleanly across permissions and systems, the rest of the portal can expand on a solid foundation rather than becoming a collection of disconnected HR forms. I have worked on similar HR portal workflows, including a multi-role employee/admin/HR system covering employee records and salary documentation. For this project, I’d begin by mapping the HR manager, supervisor, employee, and applicant journeys against the Dataverse data model before building the Power Pages interface and Power Automate approval flows. The ERP, payroll, and DMS integrations also need to be mapped early, particularly which system owns each record and how updates should flow bidirectionally, so duplicate or conflicting HR data isn’t introduced. I can work within your Microsoft 365 environment and keep the implementation documented and maintainable for internal ownership. Could you share which ERP, payroll platform, and document-management system are currently in use? That will determine whether standard Power Platform connectors cover the workflows or custom integration will be required. Best regards, Hafiz U

Build the HR portal once—and make every employee workflow flow automatically behind it. I can architect and build your Power Pages + Dataverse HR portal with role-based access for HR managers, supervisors, and employees, covering applicant tracking, onboarding, PTO, benefits, approvals, and employee self-service. I will handle Dataverse schema, Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, Microsoft 365 integration, ERP/payroll/DMS connectors, e-signatures, document workflows, responsive UI, accessibility, and security. The architecture will support reliable bidirectional data flow without manual re-entry. For the first milestone, I can build and validate the complete journey: position → job posting → candidate application → HR review → employee conversion → PTO request → payroll update. Quick Questions Which ERP, payroll, and document-management systems need to be integrated? Are their APIs/connectors and authentication documentation already available? I can build this around your existing Microsoft environment and deliver each workflow as a tested, documented milestone.

Hi, there. "POWER PLATFORM ENTERPRISE HR PORTAL" — you need HR workflows, employee self-service, and system integrations working as one secure process inside Microsoft 365. I’d structure the solution around Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power Automate, with separate security roles for HR, supervisors, and employees. I’d also keep ERP, payroll, and DMS integrations isolated through connectors so data can move reliably without creating fragile dependencies. For the first milestone, I’d focus on the complete position → candidate → employee → PTO flow, including approvals and payroll updates, so the core architecture is proven before expanding benefits and onboarding features. Which ERP, payroll, and document-management systems need to be connected first? Looking forward to working with you.

Hi there, I understand you need more than a Power Pages website—you need an HR portal where Dataverse, Power Automate, ERP, payroll, and your document repository work together as one controlled workflow. I would first design the Dataverse schema, role/security model, and portal architecture, then build candidate tracking, onboarding, PTO, and benefits pages with responsive employee self-service. Power Automate would handle approvals and system events, while connectors/custom APIs would keep ERP, payroll, and DMS data synchronized. I would validate the complete acceptance flow from position creation and candidate submission through employee conversion and PTO posting to payroll. I think you want a lightweight Arcoro-style experience that still fits your Microsoft 365 security model. I think you are trying to remove manual HR handoffs while keeping every role and data flow properly controlled. Rather than relying on words, I can build a working demo to demonstrate the approach, functionality, and quality firsthand shortly. Looking forward to work with you. Thanks

Hi, I can architect and build the HR portal around Power Pages, Dataverse and Power Automate, with role-based access for HR managers, supervisors and employees, covering applicant tracking, onboarding, employee self-service, PTO and benefits workflows. I’d structure the integrations with the ERP, payroll and document-management systems through appropriate standard/custom connectors and APIs, with security, bidirectional synchronization, auditability and mobile accessibility built into the architecture. I’d validate the complete workflow from position creation through candidate conversion and PTO-to-payroll processing as part of the implementation. Question 1: Which ERP, payroll and document-management platforms are currently in use, and do they provide APIs or existing Power Platform connectors? Question 2: Is the required Dataverse security model and HR data structure already defined, or should these be designed from the current roles, workflows and integration requirements? Regards, Houssame.

Hi, This isn’t just a Power Pages build—the real challenge is connecting the entire HR lifecycle across Dataverse, employees, HR, ERP, payroll and your document system without manual handoffs. With 18+ years of experience delivering Microsoft business solutions and Power Platform implementations. I can help build: - Power Pages + Dataverse architecture and data model - Role-based access for HR, supervisors and employees - Candidate applications, HR review and employee onboarding - PTO and benefits workflows using Power Automate - ERP, payroll and DMS integrations through connectors/APIs - Document access and e-signature workflows - Responsive desktop/mobile experience - Security roles, permissions and maintainable solution architecture I’d validate the complete acceptance flow: Position → Posting → Candidate Application → HR Review → Employee Creation → PTO Request → Approval → Payroll Update. Before implementation, I’d review the ERP, payroll and DMS integration options and define the architecture, milestones and data flow accordingly. If you share the three backend systems and available APIs/connectors, I can map the integration approach and implementation phases. Best regards, Lav

Hello, there Here is how I would architect this, including two decisions that save money and risk. - Licensing: Power Pages bills per authenticated user. Candidates stay anonymous on the public career pages, which is cheap, while employees and supervisors use a model-driven Power App through their existing Microsoft 365 login, usually far cheaper than portal logins for all staff. - Security: in Power Pages, Dataverse roles are not enough; every table also needs table permissions and web roles, or data can leak through the Web API. I set those per role from day one. Build plan: 1. Dataverse schema for positions, candidates, employees, onboarding tasks, PTO and benefit elections, with roles for HR managers, supervisors and employees. 2. Power Pages for applications and onboarding, Power Automate approvals, DocuSign or Adobe Sign for e-signatures. 3. Custom connectors to your ERP, payroll and DMS, each write-back logged and safe to retry. 4. Dev, test and production environments with managed solutions. I delivered live Copilot Studio and Power Platform training to a client team in Dubai, and I build .NET and SQL Server business applications. I can start now. 1. Which ERP and payroll systems? 2. Do they expose APIs? 3. How many employees? Thank you. Ankit

Hello, Adam from New Jersey here. Thank you for the detailed scope. A focused HR portal built around your own processes is a smart alternative to Arcoro, and I'd be glad to architect and build it on Power Pages and Dataverse. The thing that decides an HR portal is that every person sees exactly what they should, and nothing more. Power Pages table permissions will be scoped by relationship: employees see only their own records, and supervisors see only their direct reports through the reporting hierarchy. Column-level security protects fields like salary and tax IDs, even from users who can open the record. Here is how I'd approach it: 1. Design the information architecture, Dataverse schema and security roles for HR managers, supervisors and employees. 2. Build the Power Pages sites for job postings and applications, onboarding tasks, PTO requests and benefit elections, with Power Automate approvals. 3. Connect ERP, payroll and your document system through standard or custom connectors, routing each write through an integration queue with retries and alerts, so an outage never loses a PTO posting. 4. Add e-signatures and accessible, responsive layouts, then demonstrate the full acceptance flow from position creation to a PTO request posted to payroll. I recently built role-based portals, approval workflows and API integrations between business systems. I'd be happy to walk through milestones and timelines with you. Thanks, Adam.

Hi, I am Manh "POWER PAGES HR PORTAL WITH DATAVERSE" - you need HR, applicant tracking, onboarding, PTO, and benefits connected through one secure Microsoft 365 workflow. I would design the Dataverse model and security roles first, then build Power Pages around the actual HR workflows. Power Automate would handle approvals and system events, while connectors would keep ERP, payroll, and document data synchronized. I would also test the complete position-to-applicant-to-employee and PTO-to-payroll flow before handoff. Which ERP, payroll, and document-management systems need to be integrated? Looking forward to working with you.

Hi, I’d structure the first release around your acceptance workflow: position creation, public posting, application, HR review, employee onboarding and a PTO request reflected in payroll. I’d map Dataverse entities and relationships first, with separate applicant and employee access paths. Permissions would restrict employees to their own records and supervisors to their teams, with sensitive HR documents protected beyond page visibility alone. Power Automate would coordinate approvals, notifications and integration events. For ERP, payroll and DMS synchronization, I’d define ownership for each field, duplicate prevention, retry handling and reconciliation so conflicting updates or failed transfers are visible. The build would include responsive pages, document access, e-signature integration, audit trails and tests for both permitted and prohibited actions. Handover would cover configuration, connectors, deployment and support procedures. My background includes enterprise integrations and Azure/Azure AD, but I don’t have verified deep Power Pages/Dataverse or payroll implementation experience to present. I’d be transparent about that distinction before engagement. I’m available immediately, 40 hours weekly. I have two questions: Q1: Which ERP, payroll, DMS and e-signature systems are involved, and what APIs or connectors are available? Q2: How are employee identities, supervisor relationships and Power Platform licensing currently managed?

Hi I can architect and build your Power Pages HR portal with Dataverse, role-based access, Power Automate workflows, employee self-service, ATS/onboarding, PTO and benefits management, and secure ERP/payroll/DMS integrations. I’ll structure the solution for responsive accessibility, bidirectional data flow, testing, and a clear milestone-based handover within your Microsoft 365 environment. 1. Which ERP, payroll, and document-management systems need to be integrated, and do they provide APIs/connectors? 2. Do you already have a Dataverse/Microsoft 365 environment with security roles configured, or should I design the full architecture from scratch? if looking for expert then lets connect (expereince 7 yrs in development)

Hi- Daniel from Ohio here, The complexity of building an HR portal within Microsoft 365 requires a precise mapping of Dataverse tables to your existing ERP and payroll systems to avoid synchronization gaps. I will architect the portal to handle applicant tracking and employee self-service by strictly enforcing role-based access controls for HR managers, supervisors, and staff across the Power Pages interface. How I'd build it: I will first define the normalized Dataverse schema to ensure bidirectional data flow for PTO requests and benefit elections, preventing record duplication during back-end writes. I will implement custom Power Automate workflows for the e-signature triggers and document retrieval from your repository, ensuring that every approval event is logged and committed to the ERP system immediately. I will construct responsive UI components for the Power Pages site, validating form logic for both desktop and mobile users, then execute end-to-end testing on candidate submission through payroll posting before full production deployment. I have previously integrated complex ERP webhooks with Dataverse using secure OAuth2 flows to maintain data integrity across asynchronous event bursts. Which specific payroll and ERP systems are you currently using to handle the incoming data writes from Power Automate? Thanks, Daniel
