Based on Wordpress (in it's latest version) and the Elementor Page Builder (in the Pro-Version) & Jupiter theme we want to do a relaunch of our existing website.
We are searching a developer who is able to start immediately and has enough capacity to work on this project.
Deadline for your delivery is Dec 11. We do require close communication. Which means that regular status updates and testable results are a must have. Do not bid, if you do not want to. We don't want you to work in silence for weeks. We want clear testable results every now and than.
We do expect professional communication - if there is a question, please ask e.g. "How could we have the mega menu. Best practices are X, Y or Z. I recommend to do it like ABC. Do you have other examples?" rather than "Menu not clear. Tell me more!"
This project is about relaunching a complete, existing website. We do not want to loose URLs or information that are inside of Wordpress. It's not about doing 4 pages good and "somehow". We want to fresh, modern and good looking website in every corner. So beside of coding skills, also design skills are required. This also means, that the website must have good (above 80) scores in Google PageSpeed.
Layouts are existing as a grid. This means we have a layout for a content page of topic A, but we do not have this landing page for topic B. That's your part of the job! We do e.g. have a clear vision which elements to use for the landing page - but as it should be based on Elementor, it's not yet layouted - your job!
The goal is to generally focus on the functionality the Page Builder offers, so that it is easily possible to launch new landing pages or do customizations without the need of software development. This also includes the responsiveness of the website (for viewports such as mobile, tablet and desktop).
As current source we do have 6 page-layouts including
* Support Page
* Landing Page (JPEG only)
* Search Layout
* Exit Intent Page
* Scheduling Page
* Step 1 task is to migrate the given templates into the new Wordpress website
* Step 2 is to migrate the existing blog posts from the existing website to the new one
* Step 3 create the existing (and new) pages based on our navigation document
* Step 4 fill missing gaps like e.g. the mega menu or missing hero images
* Step 5 do in in-depth optimization so that you meet relevant PageSpeed Scores, apply best practices
* Step 6 merge new content into this project (within your dev time it's likely that we do work on the content)
It's important for all pages, that the URL remain like they are. Data that are already there like meta information, etc. may not get lost.
The project should be finalized quite fast.
With the start of the project, you will define daily milestones that we do track in order to know if we are in time or not.
Work must be done on our webserver as we don't want to face any kind of surprises after the migration. We will do two payment - 80% of the budget after the relaunch, 20% after the one-week flawless work of the website.
If you read till here, please start your briefing with "✅ Briefing read. I am fine with everything!".
Finally - please do not bid if you don't have enough time to work on this project right now or if you plan to change the requirements.
