The goal of this project is to track the number of times links are clicked within a Qualtrics survey using Google Analytics.
With Qualtrics, a free online survey site, I will be administering a survey in which I will be testing how different information affects peoples' likelihood to become registered organ donors. Each survey respondent will receive 1 of 4 sets of information, and will have the opportunity to click a link that leads to an external site that will allow them to register to become an organ donor ([login to view URL]). I would like to track the number of clicks on the link that will be provided after each of the 4 sets of information, to determine which set of information is most effective (in terms of number of clicks). See attached pic for an example.
To do this, you will need to use Google Analytics. In Qualtrics, you can edit the html code of any given question (see other attached pic). My understanding is that you can edit code generated by Google Analytics and implement it within the html code of the Qualtrics survey to track the clicks. Your job will be to figure out how to do this. I would also ask for a short explanation of the code once completed so I can use it in the future.
To complete this project, you will need to make a free Qualtrics account and a free Google Analytics account. You will need a gmail account to login to Google Analytics, so I would recommend making a new gmail account because I will need to access the Analytics account as well to confirm that the tracking is working.
Strong preference will be given to bidders with Google Analytics experience.
Thanks and good luck!
