Hello Sir/Madam, Normally a library management system contains a single library transactions, this will not work for a organization having multiple libraries located at far distances and didn't have centralized access by a single admin and having a separate server and admin for each library. I Overcome this problem by arranging four libraries belong to a same organization named intermediate ,under graduate, post graduate and engineering library portals(as per my concern) and provided a centralized admin to maintain the details of four library [url removed, login to view] these four libraries information's located on a single server. We need online access for accessing the [url removed, login to view] don't need to maintain different servers and different admins for each library maintenance. This will reduce the cost very [url removed, login to view] provide security to each library using username and [url removed, login to view] librarian belong to one library can't access another library information with his [url removed, login to view] can access his library information [url removed, login to view] the admin can access any library [url removed, login to view] library have book catalog, student information, issue , return , fine payers list. We can access a record with any one field belong to that record.
1. When a book was issued for a student, then the no_of_books field of student information was incremented to (one)1 and book status was modified to ‘Not Available’.
2. When a book was returned by a student, then the no_of_books field of student information was decremented to one and books status was modified to ‘Available’.
3. When a book was returned by a student, then the fine was calculated automatically based on difference of due date and return date.
4. The total fine collected by a library until now was also calculated automatically.
