Hello! We run a membership-based business that allows members to access a library of over 100 subliminal affirmations meditation tracks on our website, SoundandSoulful.com.
We are looking for an experienced Shopify app developer to build a custom Shopify app for us. To clarify, this means we want an application that we can add to our existing Shopify store in order to provide new features for our members.
We already have a membership app in place, so this new app we need created will be used solely to allow us to embed our own audio tracks onto pages of our website, as well as allowing customers to save and organize these audio tracks into custom playlists that they can save to their personal account on our site.
The developer for this job would need to be able to create a Shopify app meeting the following requirements:
1. We must have the ability to upload an unlimited number of audio files to this app, which can then be translated into code that we can embed onto pages of our website.
2. The audio players we embed must maintain the simple, clean-looking black and white feel of our website.
[login to view URL] audio players must be able to support an unlimited number of members listening to them at the same time.
4. Members should be able to create an unlimited number of custom playlists using these audio tracks, which they can save to their account.
5. The audio tracks should continue to play in the background even if the phone screen is locked, or if the customer is browsing different applications on their phone. If the soundtrack is playing while the phone is locked we would like the phone screen to display the name of the audio track currently playing, as well as our store logo.
6. We need to have the ability to upload new soundtracks ourselves through the app whenever we create them [we add new tracks on a weekly basis].
7. Please share with us your terms for ongoing app support, should there be any future issues regarding app maintenance or crashing. We need someone who is reliable and able to set up an ongoing support plan with us [we are willing to compensate on a monthly basis for this ongoing support].
We are not looking for just a one-time project, but a Shopify developer who we can build an ongoing professional relationship with. We have many ideas for future features we would like to add, but these are the most urgent and foundational features we would like to create. We are not on a strict timeline with this project, but we will prioritize developers who can develop this app more quickly.
