The project from the course Web application development consists of building a website (3rd outcome) and a web application (4th outcome), and writing documentation (5th outcome).
The topic is arbitrary, and you can apply through the forum. Students can work in pairs.
Website (25 points)
The created website consists of several HTML documents (eg cover, arbitrary content, about us, contact form, image gallery), based on the HTML 5 standard, structured thematically and content-wise into a meaningful whole. Uniform design throughout the website is mandatory.
It is necessary to provide navigation through the documents. All links to other resources, locally or on the Internet, must work even after transferring the website to another computer.
Create a responsive website design . The design should be provided by an external CSS document. It is possible to use ready-made templates, but you need to know how to explain them.
Set up an image gallery.
Ensure verification of data when entering on the client side (JavaScript or JavaScript library)
Web application (25 points)
Create a web application on the same topic that will:
Ensure input and / or display of data from a relational database (min. 3 tables) via asynchronous communication ( AJAX )
Ensure retrieval of structured data from a database into a JSON or XML file
Organize a web application with MVC or related design.
Set up a web application as part of a website and ensure a uniform design.
Documentation (10 points)
The documentation contains:
Introduction (short summary and motivation)
System description
System analysis (textual description of requirements, specification of required functionalities, and list of technologies and tools required for system construction).
Website structure (making a website sketch, make a structure and division into a static and dynamic part of the website).
Design web seats (making visual design, structure screen, navigation, defining styles and display).
Web application construction (list of functionalities of the dynamic part of the website , code organization, flow chart as needed, data modeling and databases.
