This project is to do a (small) second iteration on a recent front-end project that is used on six websites that represent 'hardcopy' technical and scientific B2B magazines.
Those sites are powered by a Drupal 7 CMS, Zurb Foundation 6, and a few web APIs that lurk in the background for the most part.
Working from still screen shots with measurements for CSS attributes, you will interpret for a responsive 'theme', and edit/write SCSS that exists already as a Parent and Child theme combo based on Zurb Foundation 6. You must therefore have experience compiling SCSS.
The Parent theme can be edited directly, the Child theme will need to be compiled through a PHP script that I will supply, to be used across all 6 magazine sites. You will need to follow instructions *very* closely, else you will potentially invalidate my workflow. Anything that is different across websites, and requires specific styles just for that website will need to go into that child theme. E.g. colours.
Some of that code is in a Drupal module, rather than a Theme. If you are not experienced in Drupal you may be OK. But you will need to follow instructions to the letter.
**I will have limited time to communicate on this project**. You will need to be able to interpret code, PHP, SCSS, read comments and use your initiative. You will also need to be able to set yourself up with a workspace though I might be able to help with that, so that you don't ask me to regularly upload snippets of code to test.
Ask me any questions you might have. I'm happy to support the winning bidder, but I can't give the normal amount of time I'd usually give.
And don't just blindly submit a bid in the middle of the range... this is currently a small project but it might change
