ARTWORK REDRAW BRIEF Project: Cushion Cover Placement Print – Screen Printing Product Size: 55 × 55 cm 1. Objective Create a flat, screen-print-ready placement artwork for a cushion cover, based on the supplied reference product photograph, suitable for manual screen printing. This is a single placement print, not a repeat. 2. Final Print Size & Positioning Artwork size: EXACT 55 × 55 cm Placement: Visually centred Coverage: Design must intentionally extend to all four edges No white margins unless visually designed 3. Colour Breakdown (3 Screens Only) The design must be separated into three solid colour layers: Navy (Primary background) Largest coverage Must reach edges Strong, continuous shapes Light Blue (Secondary motifs) Supports the navy Must also reach edges where applicable Beige / Sand (Centre motif only) Small accent Precisely centred Each colour = one screen. 4. Style & Design Intent Design is ikat-inspired / organic / symmetrical Edges should feel designed, not clipped or mirrored Do NOT: tile the design mirror quadrants repeat the cushion photo leave incomplete shapes near edges The designer must rebuild the outer navy and light-blue field intentionally, using the reference image only as a visual guide, not a tracing. 5. Technical Requirements (Screen Printing) Output three separate files, one per colour Artwork must be: Solid black on white No gradients No anti-aliasing Suitable for film output & screen exposure Clean edges, no fuzzy outlines 6.
