I need a 186 page book (a single graphic) in Adobe Indesign cs5 .indd format to be "cleaned-up" so that ALL of its .indd formatting (its embedded fonts, headers and master pages, etc.) properly export to Kindle format using the Kindle CS5 conversion tool.
The finished product is a .indd file. The final benchmark is if it properly renders with the Kindle/Indesign Conversion tool.
This book is currently in publication. It converts properly to the pdf version that we use for ADOBE EBOOKS, BUT IT WON'T FORMAT properly with the Kindle conversion tool provided by Amazon.
I am attaching a file with 4 chapters removed so that you can examine and see how the master pages and headers need to be reformated. It has an open type "Philosopher" font embedded that needs to be changed to Adobe Garamond or some other font.I believe the TOC and Index would need some work.
Here is the link to the Kindle/Indesign Conversion tool that will determine the completion of the project. (When the .indd file converts correctly.)
Yes this includes page numbering. The Kindle 3.1 update allows for page numbering. This is a small file that will accompany the finished project. We need the TOC and Index to be functional.
