Creator / Editor Brief Personal brand content + scheduling for an Instagram series called 'Recovery, in Real Time'. The scripts and captions are already written (I’ll send a playbook) - I'm looking for someone to produce and schedule them so I can show up consistently without it eating my time. About me & why this exists I'm the founder of a wellness company. After burning out building it - while being the person who's meant to know about health - I'm now documenting my recovery honestly, in real time, and building my personal brand around that story. It's a deliberately un-glamorous, vulnerable, useful series: the opposite of polished 'wellness influencer' content. I don't have the time or energy to film, edit, design and schedule all of this myself - that's literally the problem I'm recovering from. So I need a content partner who can take the finished scripts and turn them into beautiful, on-brand posts, schedule them, and help me optimise as we go. I'll provide my voice, my face where needed, and a curated library of b-roll and assets. Who I'm looking for Someone who genuinely knows Instagram in 2026 - Reels and carousels, hooks, retention, covers, captions, hashtags, posting cadence - and can optimise, not just assemble. A strong editor and a clean designer (or a small team that covers both). Reliable and async-friendly - I'll batch things in a shared Drive; you turn them around on a schedule. Comfortable and discreet with personal, vulnerable content. Bonus: a light monthly look at what's performing, so we adjust hooks/formats based on real data. Tone of voice This is a personal recovery diary, not an ad and not a guru. If you read a line back and it sounds like a brand wrote it, it's wrong. DO Honest, unfiltered, real. Vulnerable, but always turning toward a takeaway - hopeful, never wallowing. Warm and conversational, like talking to a smart friend. A dry, light sense of humour is welcome. Insightful - every post leaves the viewer with something useful, a small reframe or tool. UK English spelling. Hyphens only, never long dashes (a long dash reads as auto-generated). DON'T No woo-woo, no hustle-bro, no 'crush it', no fake positivity, no clickbait, no corporate polish. Don't rewrite my captions or 'improve' the words. Use them as written. Don't sanitise the rawness or over-produce it. The imperfections are the point. Visual direction Calm, grounded, cinematic-but-real - and elevated. Two things are true at once: the STORY is raw and honest, the CRAFT is premium. 'Real' means emotionally honest, not low-effort. The footage should be beautifully shot, graded and typeset. Important: this needs the quiet-luxury feel of my company, @[login to view URL], so that when a post performs well I can re-share it to the company account and it sits seamlessly in that feed. Match the Superoom aesthetic - I'll share the brand kit (colours, fonts, logo, reference grid). Quiet luxury, not loud: refined colour grade, elegant typography (an understated serif for titles works well), generous negative space, considered composition. Expensive through restraint - never busy, never salesy. Palette: deep green, sage, warm cream, soft gold accent - earthy and restful. (Hex: #2E5E3A, #DCEBDD, #F3EEE2, #C9A23F. Defer to the Superoom brand kit where it differs.) Soft natural light, real settings (bed, desk, studio, walks) - honest, but shot with care. Nothing staged or stocky. On-screen text: minimal, one consistent elegant font, lowercase-leaning, small - never shouty. Only the beats provided. Covers: a natural still + the short title in small, consistent, lowercase type, same font. The grid should read like a calm, premium magazine - and look at home next to the Superoom feed. Pacing: let moments breathe, but land the hook in the first 1-2 seconds. Reference feeling: 'she gets me' AND 'this is beautiful' - never 'look how perfect my life is'. The work, sorted by how much I need to be involved Every reel has its own page in the playbook with a hook, voiceover script, b-roll suggestions, on-screen beats and the caption. Each also shows its POST ON date. Three buckets: 1. DO THESE SOLO - ZERO INPUT FROM ME (START HERE): THE 14 CAROUSELS Built entirely from the script + my curated b-roll/stock + data screenshots. No voiceover or footage of me needed. Slide 1 = the hook line; each following slide = one voiceover beat (one idea per slide); final slide = the takeaway. Caption pasted from the playbook. Chapter One: #4 Founder vs finance · #5 Structure · #6 Knowing vs doing · #7 The negative loop · #8 HRV: 11 (my data screenshots) · #9 Systems not symptoms · #13 Two kinds of burnout · #14 The volcano Chapter Two: #5 Stress lived in my body · #6 HRV ongoing (data) · #7 Day one / cycle · #9 The whole toolkit · #11 The signs I ignored (data) · #14 Three things (the trio) 2. DO ONCE I SEND A VOICEOVER (+ MY CURATED B-ROLL): THE 12 VOICEOVER REELS I record the voiceover on my phone; you lay it over my curated clips, add the beats, cut to pacing, build the cover. Chapter One: #12 The Great Exhaustion (opener - pin it) · #2 Instagram isn't real · #3 Anything less feels like failure · #10 The tracker · #11 The strong one · #15 The grit mantra · #16 How I beat the overwhelm Chapter Two: #2 The starting line · #8 The Nadal mindset (Wimbledon) · #12 Normal bloods, still empty · #13 Recovery isn't earned · #15 Two tools that calm my nervous system 3. I FILM THESE IN THE MOMENT - YOU EDIT AFTER: 4 REELS Chapter Two: #1 First class back · #3 Foot rehab · #4 The humbling · #10 Check-in Platform & optimisation (where your expertise earns its keep) Hooks: the first line + first frame decide everything. Spoken and on-screen at once, no intro, no 'hey guys'. Carousels are for saves and shares - design slide 1 to stop the scroll and the last slide to prompt a save or send. Covers consistent for grid cohesion; reels captioned/subtitled (auto then proofread). Schedule to the dates in the playbook calendar; flag the best posting times for my audience if you have a view. Stories are for nurturing existing followers (e.g. 'comment for the tracker'); Reels are the discovery engine. Don't rely on Stories for reach. Cross-posting: produce everything to a standard that can be re-shared to @superoom.life. Nothing should look so 'lo-fi personal' that it can't sit on the premium brand feed - I'll pick the winners to repost. Monthly: tell me which hooks/formats performed, so we double down on what works. File handoff (shared Google Drive) /01 SCRIPTS - the playbook (scripts, captions, calendar). Source of truth. /02 B-ROLL - my curated clips, tagged by vibe (desk, walks, studio, foot rehab, data, etc.). /03 VOICEOVERS - my recordings, named by reel. /04 DATA + SCREENSHOTS - HRV graphs, tracker photos, anything for slides. /05 FINISHED - completed posts: the 9:16 mp4 or carousel images + the cover + caption & hashtags in a text file. Naming: chapter-reel-title, e.g. C1-12_GreatExhaustion, C2-06_HRV - match the playbook numbers. Tech specs Reels: 1080 x 1920 (9:16), under ~45s, subtitles on (proofread). Cover = a chosen frame + small lowercase title. Carousels: 1080 x 1350 (4:5), 4-8 slides, readable font, one consistent template throughout. The one rule, if you forget everything else Choose real over polished, every time. You're not making content - you're helping document a recovery. The honest version always wins here.
