ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The job is to promote the free browser-based multiplayer strategy game. The game is a severely mutated version of Risk, played on a real world map with hundreds of cities and countries and up to 20 players in one game. Despite pretty much zero promotion, there's been a lot of interest, and by now we have almost 10000 registered users. The game has been in beta for 5 months and a proper v1.0 has just been released a few days ago.
The game can be played as a guest (no registration), with Facebook account (one click signup) or with proper registration. There are plenty of things to hook up players for long term, including ranks, earned points, unlockable upgrades, medals, clans and of course playing against real people. Many current players have been playing actively for months. So we've got the problem of retaining registered users mostly covered.
The game is using Silverlight and is playable from the website or as a Facebook app.
There's also a Twitter account and a YouTube promo video.
The goal is to raise the average amount of players online (in the game). At the moment, it's around 60 and is fluctuating from 30 to 120, depending on the time of day. (Note that this is NOT the daily total, but the amount of people being in the game simultaneously, on daily average.)
We will pay for every +100 increase in this number, so please state the cost and required time based on this. For every additional +100 increase after the first one we will pay 70% of the stated cost.
We're running Facebook and YouTube ads, as well as promoting the game in other ways, which should make your job somewhat easier.
YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT USE:
- Fake accounts and bots
- Any other clearly fraudulent methods
It's fairly easy for us to determine that a large amount of registered / online players are fake, so please don't try that, otherwise we will be forced to terminate our contract.
