Labels are where these jobs fail. A USB scanner that types into the screen can feed a receipt, issue, transfer or physical stock voucher, and Tally updates the quantity on save. That part is ordinary TDL. The print side is the problem. Tally will not send ZPL or TSPL. The label goes out through the Windows driver and a barcode font on that PC. A printer that only takes raw commands does not fit the no-middleware rule you set. Code 128 if item codes contain letters, Code 39 if they are digits only. There is also no single TCP for ERP 9 and TallyPrime. The definitions split years ago. I have not shipped a Tally barcode module. Two days from your go-ahead I send a TCP you can load: your items, one label size, and a receipt that posts from the scan. If it prints and updates stock, I add the other vouchers and a report for movement, valuation and fast or slow items, exported to Excel, since Tally has no separate dashboard screen. You get the source and a setup note at hand-over, three days after you confirm the release. I can start on it today. TallyPrime or ERP 9?

Barcode-to-print for standard label sizes is the part I'd flag — Tally's native print engine handles simple text layouts well, but true barcode symbology (Code128/EAN) usually needs a font-based workaround since TDL doesn't render barcodes as images natively, so setup will matter here. Are you scanning with a dedicated hardware reader posting as keyboard input, or through a custom voucher screen?
