Beginning with Android, and then iOS/iPad, I'm looking to develop an app on a small budget.
The app needs to allow you to position an image, enlarge/reduce/reposition to fit a particular grid of 3x1, 3x2, 3x3 and 3x4 squares or larger.
Then it will automatically slice up the image and save the individual tiles in numerical order.
A similar app has just been launched on Apple store but I believe it has limitations and not well marketed.
