I'm seeking a skilled app developer to create a cross-platform (iOS & Android) application for scheduling electrical work. In summary, we're looking to build an UBER for electricians. Customers are charged an upfront fee once an electrician accepts their project. The up front fee covers the initial assessment time frame and is billed hourly if the project exceeds that time frame. Key Features: - Schedule Electrical Work: Users should be able to book electrical services at their convenience. Users should be able to post pictures and a description of the requested service. - Track Job Progress: Real-time tracking of the job status should be incorporated, ensuring transparency and keeping customers informed. - In-App Payments: A secure and seamless payment gateway for users to pay for services within the app. We currently have Stripe but are open to suggestions. Ideally, a gateway to charge the customer and pay the electricians immediately upon completion. -Electrician ability to post pictures of completed work and add additional material costs to the final customer bill. -Customer sign-off and approval of completed work before final charge. -Ratings/Reviews for both customers and electricians. -Possibly, 3rd party app integration for electrician to order additional materials needed User Account Management: - The app needs to cater for two types of users: customers and electricians. A robust user account management system is essential to differentiate and manage these roles effectively. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in cross-platform app development. - Familiarity with integrating real-time tracking systems and secure payment gateways. - Previous work on creating service-oriented apps would be an advantage. - Strong understanding of user account management systems.
