For your proposal stop talking about your credentials but say how you understood the problem and how you can improve upon the existing open source pods. Here's the project spec:
1. Create a pod that scans a network for connected devices, identifying the IP address and name (the name is important). There must be an option to scan a device for open ports and the listed ports should have corresponding friendly name such as "mysql". The pod can be written in Objective-C or Swift 5. It must use delegate pattern much like the iOS Bluetooth API. Check out these open source projects: [login to view URL]
I've tried all of them, tell me in your proposal which of those github projects seems the best.
2. Write an example iOS 9.2 project written in Swift 5 that uses the pod. It should have 2 screens. The first lists the scanned devices and if you tap on a device it will go to the next screen to list any ports or services for that device. It should handle errors like the wifi being off.
3. The speed and accuracy should be similar or exceed the Fing iOS app. Test it on at least 3 different private and public networks. Video-record your app and Fing to show that they are performing similarly.
4. All rights to the code will belong to the payer.
