I am in need of a small website for a new car club me and my friends are starting. I don't think it will be a big task to undertake as I can show you another website I kinda wanna make it similar to ([url removed, login to view], a competing club), but with a much sleeker look. I have ideas for logos and can provide pictures. I will provide ftp access to the designer so they can get everything up and running. It should have the following features:
-Integrated Forum (maybe phpbb or something nicer. would like for new forum posts to appear on front page in a table.)
-Live chat (not sure what i wanna go with. hopefully you can suggest a nice one.)
-Club News on the front page that is easily editable.
-Club rules and how to join.
-Site logo needs to be redesigned with slogan.
-Site needs membership information page.
-Site needs an about page.
-Site needs a contact page.
-Site needs video gallery and picture gallery.
-Site colors will be primarily black and white. Black background with white lettering.
-See [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] for good examples of street racing based websites. Would like something similar, but doesn't have to be nearly as extravagant.
-Main page will feature a news section and navigation.
-About, membership, news, contact pages may be left blank with spots to rewrite the text. I can edit those myself in Dreamweaver. I'm basically looking for a good template to work with that is ready to go with our logos.
A layout very similar to: [url removed, login to view] would work minus the flash. I want to make the site accessible to dialup users. Basically if you can redesign that with our logos minus the flash, that is something like I want.
