We need a program that converts PICT files
to EMF files.
It should be written in 100% pure Java.
The program should NOT output bitmap files (i.e., this is must be a vector
[url removed, login to view]
for more guidance.
The vector based EMF files should be importable into Word.
When the program prints a circle, it should look smooth (i.e.,
not like a bitmap).
Sample pict files will be made available.

The JSHESH project enables copy and paste to the clipboard. If you can get it to copy to the clipboard so that it will paste, as vector information, into word, you need not save as EMF. If that will be your approach, please indicate as much.
This will have to work on a mac, from Java, if you are going to use the clipboard in this way.
