We have a number of processes running over Google Spreadsheets (relevant for the current project are timesheets, vacation planning sheets and expenses).
We now need to consolidate the whole data flow in a MySQL database that is communicated from a MS Access application. (Please note the definition of our constellation: "MySQL - MS Access"! It is a question of adding one more driver, but the discrepancies in terms of SQL syntax vs. MSSQL are at some points rather considerable).
The solution we need has to function over Google Docs API. There is a certain number of predefined functionality that we need:
- The data that is entered in the Google Spreadsheet has to be validated vs. the MySQL data model, and the user working with Google Docs has to receive a notification:
a) the cells in the Google spreadsheets are colored red,
b) user receives an email on the errors she has committed,
c) if a user doesn't fill out the timesheet for the last 72 hours, she will receive a notification email,
d) if a user receives 3 notifications, a notification email is sent to her manager,
We have a lot of stuff to be included here. At the moment we would like to receive a quote on the above points.
Please describe the ways to implement the functionality above. We will not take into consideration any generic bids.
