data structure & algorithm coding test

My company is looking for software developers to take part in a data structure and algorithm coding test. We are looking for an individual who has a high level of expertise in programming and who can write code in a specific language. For this assessment, we need the test to be written in Java. The questions are of intermediate difficulty and related to data structures and algorithms. Although we do not know the exact requests, we would like the individual completing the test to be knowledgeable on a variety of data structures and algorithms that might be asked in the assessment. This coding test would provide us with good insight into a potential candidate's coding ability and their knowledge of programming languages. To ensure the task is completed accurately, we will ask for the individual taking the test to provide us details on their methods, along with the results.
