Groovy Script to Programmatically Create a Drupal Post

For testing purposes you'll need to have access to a Drupal installation (or install yourself) The groovy script will be short just 1 rest API call to create the post. Using [login to view URL] the groovy script will call a single Drupal API exposed through Rest for creating a post (category/tag/public/private/user/group should be parametrized). The HTML content of the post should be parametrized. What will be provided? See attached. The Groovy project structure (gradle project) is provided pre-configured with the [login to view URL] REST client library dependency - you will only need to modify an existing Groovy script to execute the correct Drupal rest API for creating a post The output of this project will be: 1. The working Groovy script to create a Drupal7/8 post (both Drupal7 and 8 should be supported) - The HTML content of the post should be parametrized(category/tag/public/private/user/group should be parametrized). 2. A text file describing what Drupal add-on was used to expose the Drupal API as Rest. Which other Drupal add-ons/plugins where considered? Why the particular plugin was choosed instead of the other options?
