164467 Web 2.0 WebDesign

***** PLZ read before simply bidding! ****

Quick Summary: I need to get a good-looking, simple, Web 2.0 (simple with nice gradients!), tab-navigation design for this page: (which is currently simply the backend functional stuff):

[url removed, login to view]

The first rough draft of this design I have already started: [url removed, login to view] But I have run into some problems (because I am artistically disabled!)...

The required solution will need to fulfil these requirements:

1) Fix: Please see: [url removed, login to view]:

There are some layout problems that need fixing: <div>'s causing line-breaks, column widths, and element placements...

2) Fix: Please see: [url removed, login to view] : [url removed, login to view] has a dropdown menu (like google suggest, using ajax). But the <div> element into which the list appears, needs to OVERLAP all other elements (not push them down, as it currently does)... This shouldn't be too difficult to fix I imagine.

3) Design: As can be seen in [url removed, login to view], I was trying to get a tab-navigation built. But after some stress with IE and FF displaying it differently, I decided someone else will be able to do this better than me :-D

So the requirements are simple:

- Create a very simple, Web2.0-like tab-navigation using green (the green in the "Today's Best" table in '[url removed, login to view]') for the tabs and a orange-y for the active tab .... with a slight gradient into yellow top-section for the currently active tab-page. It doesn't really matter, as long as it LOOKS GOOD, clean and professional.

4) (Bonus) The ajax drop-down mentioned in Point #2, has a problem: when a user types "a", the list returned from the db is quite large and causes the text cursor to FREEZE until the results are returned ... this needs to be avoided so the user can freely type (as if no back-end processes were happening)

(when placing a bid / posting message, plz specify if you are able to include point #4) in your bid) !

The ideal candidate will have good experience with web-design and css (and possibly ajax, for #4). and will need to show EXAMPLES of previous work!

This is going to be a good site and needs a great Web2.0 design to make it look WOW !

Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Gerry
