I have an application that uses CKeditor 4 and need the CKeditor 4 configured to upload and display images. CKeditor comes with an image plugin that does not let the user to browse to find the images they want to add to the web page they are editing.
EasyImage (a CKeditor provided plugin) seems to require a monthly fee to use. This is NOT acceptable. The solution must keep my use of CKeditor free.
Simage ( [login to view URL] )
I have tried to use simage but I can not get it to work. It opens and browses the users computer easily enough but the image does not seem to get uploaded to the configured folder.
The solution needs to be a configuration effort ... not a re-write of the editor.
The solution needs to work in all major browsers.
The solution could be CKeditor 5 if there is a plugin that would accomplish the same without incurring a fee to use it.
I am providing a sample to work with. Unzip it somewhere and notice that I have configured the simage download location to be TestingCK/TestingImages/
